Smoke & Fire Effects in a Nampa Home
The smoke from this fire in Nampa coated the ceiling, walls, and the furnishings with a thick, powdery residue. Our SERVPRO of Nampa/Caldwell fire damage restoration technicians immediately sealed off this room from the remainder of the home to prevent the circulation of smoke particulates. This mitigated odors and reduced any secondary damages caused by the smoke. The After Photo depicts the sealed room, wiped down of most of the smudges. A primer, which trapped smells and stains was applied prior to a finished coat. The first night an ozone machine changed the physical composition of the offensive odors into harmless compounds. Our rapid response mitigated the damage and allowed for restoration rather than replacement of some of the interior building elements. We strive to save our customers money and inconvenience, alleviate their stress, and complete the job "Like it never even happened."
