Nampa Work After a Storm

The Before Photo was taken after the storm water had been extracted from this Nampa residence. The demolition of the flooring was quickly done to remove most of the damp materials. Our SERVPRO crew also removed the soaked drywall on the back end of the kitchen. The exposed wall cavities helped expedite the evaporation and mitigation of secondary water damage. Heated dehumidifiers and wet-vacs were replaced in the After Photo with a rigged air mover. The poly conduit (called lay flat duct in the industry) is shown channeling the remaining water vapor and odors to the exterior of the room via an open window. The flat screen tv suffered no moisture damage since the storm damaged area was quickly vanquished of residual moisture. We sprayed with an antimicrobial product to sanitize and prevent future mold infestations. The homeowner was shocked how swiftly we accomplished the restoration to his home.
